Addressing Mental Health Stigma in Primary Care Settings
Abstract
Mental health stigma remains a significant barrier to effective care. This paper examines strategies to reduce stigma in primary care environments. Through qualitative interviews with primary care providers and patients, the study identifies successful interventions and best practices for fostering a supportive atmosphere. The research underscores the importance of education, communication, and integrated care models in mitigating stigma and improving mental health outcomes.
