AI in Orthopedics: Enhancing Surgical Outcomes and Rehabilitation
Abstract
Artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming orthopedics by enhancing surgical outcomes and rehabilitation. This paper explores AI applications in preoperative planning, intraoperative guidance, and postoperative care. We review case studies demonstrating AI's ability to improve surgical precision, reduce complications, and accelerate recovery. The paper also addresses challenges such as data accuracy, system interoperability, and clinician acceptance. Future research directions are proposed to further integrate AI into orthopedic practices, aiming to improve patient outcomes and quality of life.
