AI in Cardiovascular Health: From Prevention to Treatment
Abstract
Artificial intelligence (AI) is advancing cardiovascular health by improving prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. This paper reviews AI applications in predicting cardiovascular events, enhancing diagnostic accuracy, and personalizing treatment plans. We highlight case studies where AI has identified high-risk patients, optimized medication regimens, and improved surgical outcomes. The paper also addresses challenges such as data integration, patient privacy, and clinician acceptance. Future research directions are proposed to maximize the benefits of AI in cardiovascular care, emphasizing its potential to reduce morbidity and mortality rates.
