AI in Health Behavior Change: Promoting Healthy Lifestyles Through Technology
Abstract
Artificial intelligence (AI) is advancing health behavior change by promoting healthy lifestyles through technology. This paper explores AI applications in developing personalized interventions, monitoring health behaviors, and providing real-time feedback to individuals. We review case studies demonstrating AI's ability to enhance physical activity, dietary habits, and smoking cessation efforts. The paper also discusses challenges such as data privacy, user engagement, and algorithm effectiveness. Future research directions are proposed to maximize the benefits of AI in promoting health behavior change, aiming to improve public health and reduce the prevalence of chronic diseases.
