Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming maternal and fetal medicine by improving outcomes for mothers and babies. This paper reviews AI applications in monitoring pregnancy, predicting complications, and personalizing prenatal care. We highlight case studies where AI has enhanced diagnostic accuracy, optimized treatment plans, and supported early intervention strategies. The paper also discusses challenges such as data privacy, algorithm transparency, and integration with clinical practice. Future research directions are proposed to enhance the role of AI in maternal and fetal medicine, aiming to improve health outcomes for both mothers and their children.
