Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) is advancing anesthesiology by enhancing safety and efficiency in perioperative care. This paper explores AI applications in predicting anesthesia needs, monitoring patient vitals, and optimizing pain management during and after surgery. We review case studies demonstrating AI's ability to improve patient outcomes, reduce complications, and streamline anesthesiologist workflows. The paper also discusses challenges such as data accuracy, algorithm transparency, and integration with clinical practice. Future research directions are proposed to maximize the benefits of AI in anesthesiology, aiming to enhance patient safety and care quality.
