Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) is enhancing palliative care by improving symptom management and personalized care for terminally ill patients. This paper reviews AI applications in predicting patient needs, optimizing pain management, and supporting emotional well-being. We highlight case studies where AI has improved care coordination, patient communication, and quality of life. The paper also discusses challenges such as data privacy, ethical considerations, and the integration of AI into palliative care practices. Recommendations for future research and implementation strategies are provided to ensure the effective use of AI in palliative care.
