Abstract

Electronic health records (EHRs) are essential for modern healthcare but often suffer from issues related to data entry, interoperability, and usability. This paper examines how artificial intelligence (AI) can enhance EHR systems by automating data entry, improving data accuracy, and enabling advanced analytics. We explore case studies where AI has streamlined clinical workflows, reduced administrative burdens, and facilitated patient-centered care. The paper also considers the challenges of integrating AI into existing EHR systems, such as ensuring data privacy and managing the transition from traditional to AI-enhanced systems.
