AI-Powered Diagnostics: Transforming Pathology and Radiology
Abstract
Artificial intelligence (AI) is revolutionizing diagnostics in pathology and radiology, enabling faster and more accurate disease detection. This review paper explores the development and application of AI algorithms in analyzing medical images and pathology slides. We present case studies showcasing AI's ability to outperform traditional methods in detecting cancers, neurological disorders, and other conditions. The paper also addresses the challenges of integrating AI into clinical workflows, including regulatory hurdles and the need for clinician training. Future directions for research and practice are proposed to fully leverage AI's diagnostic capabilities.
