AI in Oncology: Transforming Cancer Treatment and Management
Abstract
Artificial intelligence (AI) is playing a pivotal role in transforming cancer treatment and management. This paper explores AI applications in oncology, including early detection, personalized treatment planning, and prognosis prediction. We highlight case studies where AI has improved diagnostic accuracy, treatment efficacy, and patient outcomes in various cancer types. The paper also discusses the challenges of integrating AI into oncology practice, such as data privacy, algorithm transparency, and the need for clinical validation. Future directions for research and clinical implementation are proposed to fully leverage AI's potential in oncology.
