Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) is revolutionizing pharmacovigilance by enhancing drug safety and monitoring. This paper explores AI applications in detecting adverse drug reactions, predicting drug interactions, and optimizing pharmacovigilance workflows. We review case studies demonstrating AI's ability to improve the accuracy and timeliness of safety signals. The paper also discusses challenges such as data quality, algorithm transparency, and regulatory compliance. Future research directions are proposed to maximize the benefits of AI in pharmacovigilance, aiming to enhance drug safety and protect public health.
