Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) is advancing gastroenterology by improving the diagnosis and treatment of digestive disorders. This paper reviews AI applications in detecting conditions such as colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, and liver disease. We highlight case studies where AI has enhanced diagnostic accuracy, personalized treatment plans, and predicted disease progression. The paper also discusses challenges such as data quality, patient privacy, and integration with clinical practice. Future research directions are proposed to enhance the role of AI in gastroenterology, aiming to improve patient outcomes and digestive health.
